The untold story

-Tell me a storyyyyyyy!!
-Hmm... what kind? Maybe a romance?
-Yes! No, wait... I like dragons. What about a dragon's romance?
-Okay, here we go...
Once upon a time a dragon lived in harmony with his dragon wife and their two baby dragons. They were all very happy.
One day, the dragon parents were flying together, looking for some meat for their babies when they saw a human army getting close to their cave. It was too late when they arrived to their cave. The babies were not in there. The dragon wife was so upset, that for revenge she would kill every last human around, but the male dragon insisted his wife not to go after them, because they wouldn't be able to save their baby dragons.
The next morning, when the dragon woke up, he realized that his wife wasn't in the cave and he knew it: he knew that she was looking for the human army to destroy them. He flew as fast as he could to avoid his wife to go there but when he arrived to the human castle it was too late. He saw her body, motionless, on the ground and a lot of humans around her. He was so angry and he promised that one day he would revenge his family.
Years passed by, years that the dragon spent all alone. Every day was a torture for him. He had been training a lot to be able to fight the army. And one day, he decided he could not wait anymore and he decided to make the first move.
He went to the castle and said that he would not stop destroying and burning every last rock of the castle until there would be nothing left of it. The first day he burned an entire tower down. The humans were so scared. This dragon was huge, they could not fight it. They hoped the dragon wouldn't come back... But he did.
The next week the dragon appeared and killed every cow and goat the humans had. The next one, he returned and burned as many houses as he could. The following one, he decided to catch the king's daughter and bring her to his cave. But the princess was not terrified. In fact, she was surprised, since she recognized that cave. She was so small back then, when she went there almost every day to see the baby dragons, her friends. She remembered that day, when a stupid soldier followed her because he wanted to marry her -he was forty years elder-. She didn't know she was being followed when she arrived to the cave to see her friends... But, when that soldier saw them, he ran to the king and brought back an army to fight those dragons. The princess was surprised and angry but she couldn't do anything to save the dragons.
The princess told this story to the dragon and she saw a tear in his eye. She appologized, for she didn't know he was their father... They spoke for so much time and became friends. But that was not the end: on the meantime, the king had sent the bravest soldier of the land to rescue the princess. The soldier went to the cave and tried to defeat the dragon. However, the dragon was stronger, bigger and more intelligent and the soldier was defeated in a few seconds. He was about to get killed, for he was the soldier that the princess told the dragon about, but she stopped the dragon. She wanted to help the dragon, and she knew that killing that soldier would not help him. The dragon listened to her and she realized that the only thing that would help him was his own death. He let the soldier and told him to dare to kill him with his spear. The soldier got up and perforated the dragon's chest. The princess was horrified when the dragon felt death. There was a rose under the blood of the dragon, in the green grass. That rose was exactly the same color as the blood of the dragon. She caught the rose and a tear appeared in her eye. But there was no reason for sadness. The dragon now would be happy, again with his family. The princess thought that she couldn't tell that story, for no one would thing it was real. She told everyone that the dragon was killed by a gorgeous soldier, named St. George. Because St. George was the name of the dragon, and it was himself who wanted his own death.
Good night.
-Zzzz...
